A full house on this lovely sunny day working in the cemetery (27 April 2025). Alan, Rita and Michael were the first to arrive, followed shortly after by Chris and Dave, with Astrid and Felix following later in the morning in time for tea break. Although Astrid is still unable to do much it is nice that she comes in and helps where she can.

Michael set too in trimming the second Bay tree in the flower garden, then helped Rita finish weeding and planting a lavender bush, some hydrangea cuttings and a hebe.

Rita then weeded several graves along the front path of the cemetery and Michael went down to where the boys were working at the far end of the Pantomime wall, taking ivy off a nearby tree.

Chris who had cleaned all the stones from graves in Plan 9 area, placed them back in the graves, thanks Chris not one of the best jobs, cleaning dirty stones, great job.

Chris then joined Alan and Dave, on a mission today (not planned, because Alan forgot to pack the cement). At the bottom corner of the cemetery at the end of the pantomime wall is a small piece of land that juts in behind pantomime land, our maps and records show that there is a grave in this area where it is really overgrown with brambles and hard to see what, if anything, is there. So armed with mattock, and clippers the boys spent the morning clearing nettles, brambles, ivy and so far have uncovered a pile of stones which match the wall. See photos before and after.

They took 3 bags of debris to the rubbish pile, then packed up their tools and made their way home.
