Alan and Rita met Astrid at the cemetery today. They were pleased to see that the front gate had been repaired and we can now keep it shut. SDC had also been in and cut the grass, due to the Coronavirus this was the first cut of the year and they did an excellent job,

Diary 23 May 2020

Still on Lockdown, so no work can be undertaken by volunteers, and the council’s green surroundings team are deployed elsewhere. So everything grows. It’s bad for access, not great for the heritage (but not too bad as long as things can return to normal down the line), but great for the bees.
