Just Alan and Rita in the cemetery today (30 November 2025) and a nice surprise to see that the grass cutting team had been in and cut the grass for us. Thank you ‘boys’ much appreciated.

It was a frosty start so Alan & Rita worked in the sunshine and soon warmed up. They started working on the B40 Hancock grave that Rita started a few weeks ago, where moss had grown all over the small granite stones, it was taking ages trying to get the stones out of the moss so Alan decided he would put them through the sieve. This soon separated the moss from the stones, but they were left covered in earth so then they had to be washed. This done they were put back in the grave and spread evenly over the concrete base, now looking very nice.
Moving on to Section A, working on the Washer A43 and Cottrell A42 graves clearing the grass and weeds that had grown on and through the black membrane and up through the stones. Photo’s of before and after were taken. Satisfied with their work they packed up, picked up the litter lying around and made their way home.
