Surviving Memorials

This survey of the surviving memorials in the Wembdon Road Cemetery is the result of over a decade of hard work by the volunteers to photograph, transcribe and plot every single surviving memorial within the cemetery - nearly 1500 in total! The maps and plans should be a guide to help you find you family memorials. This resource, available to members of the Friends, is constantly being updated and improved, and we are always in need of more help to make it better, so get in contact if you may be able to help. Also, if you spot an error please let us know. To access the pages, sign up to be a member of the Friends today.

Search the Memorial Archives Here:

Note - the best way to search is to simply start with the surname. You will get results with all the pages in the memorial archive in which that name occurs (note that the text blurb that comes up will probably be unrelated). Click on any of the results and on the memorial page use 'ctrl' and 'f'' on your keyboard (or 'command F' on Mac) to open your browser's page search. Then look for the surname within that page from the results.
