A host of golden daffodils on a frosty sunny morning, from Astrid:

Chris popped in the cemetery and took some beautiful pictures today. He says: sunshine today, vision is still clear beneath the trees, overhang branches are fine, new flowers show visitors have been.

Astrid took some pictures this morning of the cemetery after the overnight snow which had then froze. Already melting away with the sun though!

Dave, Astrid, Alan and Rita in the cemetery today. First stop was to look at the Norris B 69 grave, as a relative had been in contact about its possible repair. The area was cleared to see where and how the headstone had been fixed upright, and photos were taken to send to Fine Memorials.

Astrid, Rita, Alan Dave and Chris in the cemetery today, they were joined by Dan, Rita and Alan’s grandson who was staying with them for a few days. A gold star for Chris as he returned to the cemetery last Sunday afternoon and cleared up all the bottles etc. that were left around the cemetery

Rita, Astrid and Alan had a walk round the cemetery with Ian Hale to look at a number of memorials earmarked for possible repair. All of the memorials will need the gantry. Alan cemented the grave he had been working on before he went off. Also after Ian had left the three of us walked

Dave Chris and Astrid in the cemetery this morning as Alan and Rita were in there final days of self isolating – they will be back next week, weather permitting of course. A grey and overcast day but ideal for tidying graves in Section 13 and section 9. Dave relayed on his way in there

Just Dave Chris and Astrid (and of course Parsley) as Rita and Alan were self-isolating at home. The grass has been partially cut, and we presume the council will return on Monday to finish this off. They had also been in to empty all the dumpy bags, so Astrid packed them all into several of
